About Me
Hi there! I am Richard Lock, Web Designer and Developer currently with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have an eye for clean design and am well versed with both code and content development.
As a web designer, I believe that well written content and strategically formulated site architecture are key to a user-friendly website. The visual appeal and the intuitiveness of a design serve to enhance the importance of content and help users consume the information they seek. These and other UX principles help increases the credibility of a website.
When it comes to web development, I place emphasis on writing clean, performant, and reusable code. I am not afraid to push the boundaries and try something unfamiliar in my work. I am always eager to learn and apply. I am currently looking for opportunities in the Toronto and Ottawa area.
